An incomplete lead alloy or tin alloy end cap from a whistle, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). Around 25% of the whistle is present, consisting only of the end cap. The rest of the whistle is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The end cap is flattened, originally it would have been circular in shape. A suspension loop has been set at right angles to the body of the whistle. It has a circular hole, with an internal diameter of 2.5 mm. An incomplete cast copper alloy pipe bowl from a toy whistle, of Post Medieval to Modern dating (1800 to 1900 AD). The pipe bowl is incomplete, missing parts of the sides. The pipe bowl has a pointed base. The sides of the pipe bowl have been decorated. This decoration comprises a line made of joining arches, running around the bowl at its mid point. Below the line, is a regularly spaced pattern of raised pellets. Above the line, the bowl is smooth, apart from a row of dots placed in the gaps of the line of arches. An incomplete whetstone or hone, of uncertain dating, but probably Roman to Post Medieval (AD 43 to AD 1800). The whetstone is sub rectangular in plan, and triangular in section. It has been made from a fine grained sedimentary sandstone or siltstone. An old diagonal break along the length is present on the reverse, giving the whetstone fragment the triangular shape. A figure of eight shaped perforation is present at the top, indicating that it had been created by the use of a drill on either side. It is sub-rectangular in shape, with tapering sides. The cross-section is sub-rectangular. Five sides are finely smoothed, with one edge demonstrating a rough fracture. The obverse has a double incised ring around the edge and a rose stamped into the surface. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Filemarks are visible. The weight is a mid green colour with an even surface patina. It measures 18.48mm in diameter, and is 4.06mm thick. It weighs 6.0 grams (0.21 oz). Originally it was probably a quarter ounce weight, and due to abrasion, has lost some mass. Weights of this style are normally 16th to 18th Centuries in dating.

It has two stamped marks on the top surface, a quartered shield of London (with sword in first quarter) and a ewer for the Founders' Company. File marks are present on the reverse. The shield of London was used from 1826. The weight measures 15.88 mm in diameter, 2.74 mm thick and weighs 2.7 g (0.10 oz). The weight is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
