An incomplete copper alloy jews harp (or jaws harp), of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1700 AD). In plan, the jews harp consists of a sub circular head, and two tapering arms, both with the characteristic lozenge cross section. The arms are complete, but slightly bent. The rabbet is located at the apex of the head, still containing the remnants of the iron tongue. The jews harp is dark brown in colour, with an even surface patina. A cast copper alloy single looped oval buckle frame with a debased ornate outside edge style, typically of late 12th to late 14th Centuries AD. It consists of a oval frame, with an narrow offset bar, with a recess for the leather strap. The pin is missing. The front of the buckle has moulded decoration, along the outside edge, the reverse is flat and undecorated. The decoration consists of three horizonal incised slits across the outer edge, with V shaped knops present at the top and bottom. An incomplete cast copper alloy palstave with raised flange facets dating from the Middle Bronze Age (1500 BC - 1150 BC). The blade of the palstave is sub-triangular in plan with convex expanding sides and an incomplete convex cutting edge. An incomplete cast copper alloy rowel spur and rowel, of Medieval dating (c. 1200 - c.1600 AD). The spur can be described in two parts: the spur & the rowel. The spur is incomplete, consisting of the rowel box, but missing the sides and the rowel. The neck of the spur is ovoid (egg shaped) in shape. An old break is present at the top of the neck. An incomplete cast copper alloy fitting, possibly from a window latch, of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (17th to 19th Centuries AD). The probable fitting is sub rectangular in plan, and exhibits an anterior (forward) bend towards one end. Faint traces of decoration survive on the front of the fitting and consist of an impressed annulet. Two sub oval holes or perforations are present approximately in the middle of the fitting.
