An incomplete enamelled copper alloy button and loop fastener, of Roman Wild 1970, Type VIa dating (2nd Century AD).
Less than 50% of the button and loop fastener is present, consisting of the head of the button and loop fastener. The loop and part of the shank are missing. The head is rectangular and decorated with two colours of enamel, probably red and blue. The enamelled decoration is split into two styles. An incomplete copper alloy pendant, probably a crucifix, of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (c. 1400 to c. 1600).
The openwork frame is broadly shield shaped with a central cross with trefoiled terminals. An incomplete suspension loop is present at the top of the pendant, with an internal diameter of 2.9 mm. An incomplete copper alloy sword scabbard chape of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1450 to c. AD 1600).
The chape consists of the front portion. The chape is broadly U-shape, or roughly sub-triangular, and semi-circular in cross-section. There are two v-shaped voids at one end where there would have been a flared opening. The sides taper downwards towards a basal knop at the other end. Two transverse ridges extend across the centre and upper portion of the chape. The reverse is concave with a bevelled edge that would have attached to the other half.

An incomplete copper alloy strap end of possible Late Roman dating (AD 300 to AD AD 450).
Over 75% of the strap end is present, with both terminals incomplete. The top has an incomplete circular rivet hole (internal diameter: 2.2 mm) before extending downwards to a rectangular collar containing a second rivet hole. An incomplete copper alloy single loop spur buckle with an integral plate of medieval dating (c.AD 1250-1400).
The head of the buckle has an oval frame leading to the body which is slightly concave and tapers to a point. There are two rivet holes below the loop which have been filled and are intersected by a horizontal ridge. Iron corrosion products obscure the holes and part of the loop. The plate is incomplete, broken about at the midway point. The reverse of the buckle is undecorated and the pin is missing.

An incomplete copper alloy domed mount or strap fitting, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700).
The mount is sub circular in shape, and domed. No decoration is visible on the front of the mount. The remains of two attachment spikes are located on opposite sides of the reverse.
It measures 15.1 mm in length, 12.2 mm wide and 4.6 mm thick. It weighs 1.2 g.
The mount is a mid green to brown colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement while within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
