A complete copper alloy strap end, dating to the Late Medieval period, circa AD 1400-1450. The strap end is triangular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. The strap-end comprises of two plates, one which extends into a basal terminal; and a plain shorter back plate. The upper edges of the two plates are flat. An incomplete copper alloy terminal from a rowel spur arm, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th CenturiesAD). The fragment consists of a heart shaped terminal, with two circular perforations (holes). The spur arm has a D shaped cross section, with a flat reverse. Beneath the heart shaped terminal is a moulded rectangular collar, with a straight horizontal groove across it as decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy (bronze) cast horse harness fitting or strap distributor, dating from the late Iron age to the early Roman period ( c.50BC-AD50). The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. The complete rings have an internal diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.8 mm. The mount is of the bar type and consists of a domed central oval, missing the two projecting lugs which held the rivets.
