A complete copper alloy strap end, dating to the Late Medieval period, circa AD 1400-1450. The strap end is triangular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. The strap-end comprises of two plates, one which extends into a basal terminal; and a plain shorter back plate. The upper edges of the two plates are flat. An incomplete copper alloy terminal from a rowel spur arm, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th CenturiesAD). The fragment consists of a heart shaped terminal, with two circular perforations (holes). The spur arm has a D shaped cross section, with a flat reverse. Beneath the heart shaped terminal is a moulded rectangular collar, with a straight horizontal groove across it as decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy (bronze) cast horse harness fitting or strap distributor, dating from the late Iron age to the early Roman period ( c.50BC-AD50). The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. The complete rings have an internal diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.8 mm.
