A complete thin circular sectioned gold wire ring, possibly a finger ring, probably of Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 2000). The gold wire has a diameter of 1.4 mm. No stamps or marks are present on the wire. The ends have been cut. It has been formed into a circular shape with the ends of the wire overlapping by 3.4 mm. It weighs 1.0 g. The circular section of the wire is suggestive of a modern date, and therefore as it is probably less than 300 years old, it falls outside of the remits of the Treasure Act 1996 and should not be considered to be potential Treasure.

A thin gold finger ring, no hall marks or other decoration. Dimensions: Weight: 0.626 g Width: 0.79 mm Diameter: 17.7 mm. Discussion: The object is similar in style to LVPL-F848BA, WMID-E6F361, WMID-E6E061 and ESS-F1E6C3. In those cases because the finger ring has no features that would enable a secure date, there is not enough evidence to date this ring to pre-1719. Conclusion: Therefore, owing to its similarity to other rings recorded on the PAS database and the information provided by Judy Rudoe the object cannot be dated at more than 300 years old and as such…

An incomplete silver modified finger ring, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The probable finger ring has been divided into three sections. Each section has been curled round to form a loop, and all three sections interlock with each other to form a sub spherical shape. The finger ring hoop is flat.
