The hoop is circular and flat with angular edges.  The hoop has an external diameter 20.1 mm and an internal diameter 15.5 mm. The bezel is 16.2 mm long by 16.1 mm wide. No stamps or marks are present on the wire. The ends have been cut. It has been formed into a circular shape with the ends of the wire overlapping by 3.4 mm. It weighs 1.0 g. The circular section of the wire is suggestive of a modern date, and therefore as it is probably less than 300 years old, it falls outside of the remits of the Treasure Act 1996 and should not be considered to be potential Treasure.
