Post Medieval: An incomplete copper alloy button back, of probable 18th Century dating.
It is sub circular in plan. The front may once have an animal design present, or there is a possiblity it is an antiquarian Roman revival button, displaying an image from a Roman coin or a reused coin. The back is plain, with the remains of the attachment loop flattened against the button back.
It is a mid green colour, with an even patina. It has suffered from a high degree of abrasion with the result that any original decorative image on the front of the button has since been lost.

An incomplete cast lead alloy seal matrix, of Medieval dating (1200 to 1400 AD).
The matrix fragment is sub rectangular in plan, and rectangular in cross section. Approximately a quarter of the device survives, and consists of several letters of the inscription running clockwise around the edge of the device, surrounding the central design. The surviving part of the design consists of a lower curled petal, probably the lower leaf of a fleur de lys / lis. It is possible to read the letter D as part of the inscription. The back of the matrix is plain and undecorated.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pedestal seal matrix, of Medieval date (c. 1250 - c.1350 AD).
The seal matrix has a circular die, with a tapering handle. The handle has a hexagonal cross section. The suspension loop is broken. Two raised ridges (collars) are present just below the suspension loop on the handle. There are no marks on either of the six sides to aid orientation during use.
The die depicts four leaves arranged in an quatrefoil design, surrounded by the legend around the edge. The legend is not easily legible.

An irregular fragment of copper alloy casting waste, of uncertain dating, but possibly Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval (1400 - 1800 AD).
The casting waste fragment consists of a sub rectangular sheet, with uneven, almost bubbly surfaces. It is sub rectangular in cross section. Two edges are smooth and unabraded, indicative of a fairly recent break.
It is a mid grey colour, with a couple of areas which display a distinctive shiny sheer to it. This shiny sheer is suggestive that the copper alloy has a high tin content. The weight of the fragment is suggestive that lead …

An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 to 1600 AD).
The mount is oval in plan, and domed in cross section. The front face is convex and undecorated. The surface may been burnished or polished in lines. The reverse is concave. A small square sectioned spike projects from the centre of the reverse side. This attachment spike is incomplete, and has broken relatively close to the main body of the mount.
