The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric similar to GR2 (fine grog/clay pellet with some leached shell) in McSloy 2007, p 25, but with added ironstone. These ironstone inclusions could push the dating of the pottery towards the Mid to Late Iron Age (c. 500 BC to 100 AD).
