A complete cast copper alloy socketed axe head of the south-eastern type (plain A1) of Late Bronze Age date (1000-800 BC). The socketed axe is sub rectangular in shape, with a curved cutting edge. A slight horizontal collar is present on a couple of faces. There is a single loop on one side of the axehead. The loop measures 18.1 mm in length, and 6.6 mm thick. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Hod Hill type brooch dating to the 1st Century AD. Around 50% of the brooch is present. The pin and foot of the brooch are missing. The head of the brooch projects backwards in a sub-rectangular plate which has been rolled upwards and over itself around a copper alloy axis bar. The head survives to a width of 15.3 mm. A slot has subsequently been cut into the reverse of the head to accommodate a hinged pin which is now missing. Iron corrosion products are present, which indicates the axis bar was made from iron. A complete, copper alloy, heraldic, harness pendant dating from the medieval Period (AD 1200-1400). The pendant is shield shaped with a flat top and the front face decorated with a moulded, chequer board design. None of the enamel has survived. It has an integral suspension loop in the centre of the top edge of the shield. The tip of the shield at the bottom has been broken off, and the plate is slightly bent. An incomplete lead alloy cloth alnage seal, probably of Early Post Medieval dating (c. 1525 to 1610), but the design did continued until 1724. The cloth seal is of the two disc part, with the connecting strip missing. Disc 1, the larger of the two is plain, a inner circle is visible, this probably corresponds to the head of the rivet, extending from the other side. An incomplete enamelled colchester derivative hinged brooch, of early Roman dating (AD 75 to AD 130). Around 75% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow, wings and foot. Any enamel is missing, along with the pin. The wings are tubular, with no wing caps present. An incomplete annular brooch, of early thirteenth century dating (AD 1200 to AD 1250). The brooch was a flat open lozenge shape, with the pin located between two corners. The two other corners are bent backwards. The sides of the lozenge are rectangular in cross section, with bevelled edges.
