A complete silver Sceat, of the Series B type (Bird on cross), dating to c. AD 695 to c. AD 700. The obverse depicts a diademed bust right within a beaded circle. The reverse depicts a central cross, with bird facing right above, annulet to either side of cross and an additional cross pattee upper right. C.f. BMC 27b, North vol 1, p 66, no 128. S 777A. Diameter:12.7 mm Thickness: 1.8 mm Weight: 0.6 g Similar sceats have been recorded on the PAS database. These include: BERK-D13CC2; SUSS-795889; DUR-995F97 and LIN-580DA5.

An incomplete silver ingot of possible Early Medieval dating (AD 850 to AD 1000). The silver ingot is sub rectangular with a square cross section. The corners are slightly bevelled and there are some hammer marks along the edge. The ends are incomplete. It measures 28.3 mm in length, 8.8 mm wide and 6.2 mm thick. It weighs 8.9 g. The ingot is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina. The shape and size of the ingot is suggestive that it might be Early Medieval in dating, like SF-68844D 2016T988 and SUSS-7A58A3 2016T269. Comments on the record for SF-68844D state that: it is …

A complete cast copper alloy sword / dagger pommel, of Early Medieval dating (5th to 8th Centuries AD). The pommel cap is sub rectangular in plan and pyramidal in profile. It is is hollow with slightly concave sides; there are no traces of decoration. None of the rivets survive. The upper surface has a smooth mid-green patina; there are some recent scratch marks. A rectangular hole is present in the top of the pommel, for the tang of the blade to be secured. The sword / dagger pommel measures 31.31mm in length, 14.54mm wide and 11.86mm high. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of probable Late Anglo-Saxon dating (750 - 1100 AD). The strap end is sub oval (rectangle with flattened ends and bowed sides) in plan. The majority of the strap end is cast as a solid piece, with the exception of the widest part of the terminal which divides, in profile, forming a 'V' shape. An incomplete cast copper alloy annular brooch of Anglo-Saxon dating (5th to 6th Century AD). Approximately 50% of the brooch frame is present, the pin is missing, presumably lost in antiquity. The brooch frame consists of a flat curved band. The front has been decorated with a series of punched ring and dot designs. Perforations or holes are present instead of the central dot.
