Medieval drop-shaped weight with a lead core held within a copper alloy casing. The body is sperical, tapering to a point at the top. A loop projects from a raised collar of two circular concentric ridges at the top point. The loop is 'D'-shaped in plan and broadly circular in section. Around 5% of the copper alloy casing is missing, revealing the lead core. There is possible iron staining on the base within a strip with a triangular end of probable damage.
