A lead Russian bag or bale seal of post-medieval date. Both sides of the seal contain Russian text in relief. Two lines of text are present curved around the circumference of the seal and a third is contained within a raised rectangular section in the centre. The egde of the seal is decorated with a circular series of raised pellets. The seal is a mid greyish-white colour and is worn. The object is 26.16mm in diameter, 5.33mm thick and weighs 16.27g.

A cast copper alloy ring of medieval to post-medieval date. Both the outer and inner egdes of the ring are bevelled creating a lozenge shaped section. The ring has a smooth blackish-grey patina. The ring is 19.20mm in diameter, 2,04mm thick and weighs 0.97g.

A cast copper alloy asymetrical buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle has a scallop shell shaped extension on the round loop which is decorated by five radiating incised lines. The upper edge of the buckle is bevelled and the reverse is undecorated. Both the pin and plate are missing. The buckle has a light brownish-grey patina and survives in good condition. The buckle is 30.62mm in length, 18.73mm wide, 3.09mm thick and weighs 3.45g. Buckles of this type date to 1575-1700. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.92, no.583

A copper alloy thimble finger guard of medieval to post-medieval date. The thimble which will have been originally circular in shape has been crushed into an oval. The top is falt and the base has a thickened, double lined rim. The surface indentations are circular on the sides of the thimble. The metal is a mid greenish-brown patina and is fairly worn. The thimble is 15.21mm in length, 21.60mm wide, 12.64mm thick and weighs 6.22g.

A copper alloy bi-conical pin of middle Anglo-Saxon date. The pin has a medium ridge and a slight collar below the head. The shaft of the pin tapers towards the end where there is a slight bend before a worn break. The tip of the pin is missing. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is slightly pitted. The pin is 37.72mm long, 11.35mm in diameter and weighs 5.57g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy spur of Roman. The fragment constitutes one arm of a three armed spur. The arm is triangular in section and ends in a flat, sub-circular terminal with a central attachment rivet hole. The terminal end is decorated with a possible zoomorphic design. The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is glossy with some traces of being silvered or tinned on the disc. The fitting is 35.83mm long, 16.82mm wide, 7.32mm thick and weighs 5.80g.

A cast copper alloy harness suspension mount of medieval date. The mount has four arms, one of which is perforated and folded over to form hinges. The remaining three arms have circular rivet holes which are preceeded by a collar groove. Each of the arms tapers towards the end and terminates in slight knops. The reverse is slightly concaved and undecorated. Traces of gilding survive on the obverse of the mount. The metal has a dark brownish-green patina and is worn. The mount is 39.98mm long, 32.46mm wide, 4.05mm thick and weighs 6.63g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy brooch of Roman date. The fragment is a foot terminal which has a vertical central rib on the lower bow and horizontal grooves on the foot. To the reverse of the brooch the catchplate is broken. Evidence of tinning remains on the surface of the brooch. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour and survives in good condition. The foot terminal is 27.1mm long, 4.9mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 1.2g.

A cast copper alloy mount or duck brooch of Roman date. The mount is a roughly teardrop shape with a second smaller teardrop shape on the top surface. The tail is broken. The reverse of the mount has a broken central stud which may be a heavily corroded pin mechanism though the corrosion is so advanced that this cannot be determined. The surface of the mount is rough and very corroded. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour. The mount is 17.7mm long, 11.8mm wide, 13.2mm thick and weighs 4.71g. Similar duck brooches which date to the 2nd century AD can be seen in Hattatt, p.360.

A silver spoon, probably a sugar, salt or mustard spoon dating to the post-medieval to modern period, circa 1710-1900. The spoon has a large, shallow bowl which is oval in shape. There is a large heel on the reverse of the spoon which forms the beginnings of the stem. The stem has a rectangular section, with a slightly wider collar in the centre. The stem is broken at the opposite terminal to the bowl. The break is regular and worn.

A cast copper alloy trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle has concave sides and rounded ends which are decorated with raised radiating lines and decorative knops. The spindle is separate and the pin survives. The tongue of the spindle is pierced with a small hole. The metal is a mid brownish-black colour and survives in good condition. The buckle is 25.9mm long, 17.5mm wide, 3.8mm thick and weighs 3.5g. Buckles of this type date to circa 1660-1720. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p. 99, no.624.
