A copper alloy, stud-type buckle chape and pin dating to the Post Medieval period. The chape is broadly rectangular with on rounded end, a narrowed waist and expanded edge at the pin. From the rounded end projects a circular bar which expands to a rounded knop. The hinge end of the chape has detached from the buckle frame, now missing, along with its iron spindle. Most of the pin is missing due to an old break. It measures 21.1mm in length, 10.3mm in width, 6.3mm in thickness and weighs 2.29g.

A complete lead spindle whorl, dating from the Medieval to Post Medieval periods The spindle whorl is circular with a central circular perforation running through it. Both faces appear to be undecorated.
The metal is a mid beige colour and is very worn. It measures is 29.8mm in diameter, 11.8mm thick and weighs 48.45g.
Lead spindle whorls were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty. Decorated examples are thought to date to the medieval to post-medieval periods while undecorated examples cannot be securel…

Fragment of a Post Medieval glass vessel, probably a wine bottle. The sherd forms part of the outer wall of the vessel and part of the base. It is dark green in colour with a matt patination covering the outer surfaces.
It measures 18.3mm in thickness, 55.3mm in length and weighs 41.64 grams.

A fine and elaborate cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch, probably from the 2nd century. The front of the brooch is decorated with an outer raised border with a further inner border, the area between the two may once have been enamelled, but non now survives. The middle of the inner border are four raised semi-circles arranged to form a short cross with a pellet in the centre.
