Description: A cast silver cufflink element. The disc is circular in plan with down turned edges. The edges have suffered damage resulting in a loss of c. 50% of the circumference due to old breaks. The upper surface is decorated with a pair of clasped hands raised above two flaming hearts (Lewis: form 1 type C). The background has a stippled effect. The reverse of the disc bears a 'D' shaped silver wire attachment loop, now broken and remaining only as one projecting spur.
Similar examples can be found on the PAS database: BH-4372D5 (2011 T647) and IOW-F1FB17 (2011 T646).
