An incomplete, flint transverse arrowhead, pale grey in colour. A thin sub-triangular flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side and with the bulb at the wide end of the ventral surface. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect which appears to have followed the edge of the object (along two sides). Extensive wear on the dorsal side. Suggested date: Late Neolithic c.2700-2350 BC. Length: 23 mm; Width: 26 mm; Thickness: 4 mm; Weight: 4.14 g.

Flint scraper of an inner flake dating from the prehistoric period (c.8300 - 701 BC). It is oval in plan with a ridge running horizontally across the dorsal side, just lower than the half-way point. This ridge gives it a triangular cross-section. The flint is white (indicating recortication - physical alteration of the skin because of acid rain) widening at one end (8.3mm) and thinning at the other (3.61mm), which ends with a slight point. Part of a chisel arrowhead Mesolithic in date, which has been snapped on the long side. It is sub-triangular/rectilinear in plan. The snapped edge is thickest (17.46mm) and the arrowhead then narrows towards the other long side (8.04mm). The longest edge is smooth and flat indicating it has been snapped. The very tip of the point is also missing but it appears the bottom line is complete. It is made from a light-grey flint with some white and dark grey inclusions.

Prehistoric flint flake, with one face covered in the outer cortex. The flake is sub-oval in plan, the curved edge appears scalloped and the longest side has a small sub-flat platform and bulb of percussion. Extending away from the bulb are thin curved lines that indicate the force of the flint being struck. The inner-side of the flake is white whilst the outer-side still has the rough grey cortex.

Part of a leaf-shaped arrowhead dating to the Neolithic period (c.3500 - 2100 BC). It is incomplete, not quite having been finished. The main body of the arrowhead has been retouched all the way around, the shaft is not fully formed, being shaped only on one side. There are flaking scars over both surfaces of the arrowhead. It is very thin with the flint being almost see-through. It is made from a light-brown flint with some darker small patches.

The flint has a ridge running down the dorsal side and the opposite side has slightly-curved ripples running towards the defined point. On each edge of the projectile there is evidence of retouch.

Roman grey ware body sherd. Sub-rectilinear in plan with all edges broken. The fabric is grey with some inclusions, the two surfaces are darker than the inner fabric. The thickest side measures 9.39mm, tapering to 6.21mm. This thickening is where the sherd meets the rim but very little remains. The outer face has two lines, forming an upside down L which have been scratched into the surface, revealing the lighter coloured fabric. This may be deliberate decoration or could be plough damage.
