An incomplete lead, or lead alloy, button of 18th century AD date, of a type often made in silver or cut steel (see Bailey, G. 2004 p.65). Compare with PAS record CAM-7EE27C, which has almost identical decoration. This complete object weighs 21.03g. It has a circular shape with diameter of 26.5mm. In profile the button's head has a semi-circular form, convexly domed to the front with a flat reverse. The current maximum thickness over the button is 7.5mm. A broken and squashed copper-alloy finger-ring of late Post-Medieval to Modern date. The band and bezel have a flattened 'D' shaped cross section, the inner suface being flat. The bezel is circular with an engrailed edge, more worn on one side than the other. The bezel has a maximum width of 11.8mm, thickness of 1.1mm and measures c.11.6mm in line with the band. An incomplete Post-Medieval lead cloth seal. Disc one is the only part of this artefact to survive. As a result of this, it is impossible to determine whether this was originally a two or four disc type of cloth seal. The disc has a width of 31.9mm.
