An incomplete pewter spoon probably dating from the Post Medieval period, 18th century. The bowl is complete and oval shaped. A small part of the stem survives. It is sub triangular in section and has a square step on the reverse of the bowl where the stem meets the bowl. It has a length of 68.37mm, width 30.35mm, thickness 8.83mm, weight 8.51g. A copper alloy double loop rectangular buckle dating from 1600-1700AD. The buckle is decorated with small square engravings and a thin line border. A corroded iron pin is still in place. A copper alloy coin weight probably for a British Unite and dating from 1604 – 1619. It is square in shape but also heavily corroded. The edges are angled, so one face is smaller than the other. The design can only be seen on the larger face; it is a half length figure of a King facing right. It has a length of 17.08mm, width 16.75mm, thickness 5.61mm, weight 8.66g. Half of a four disc lead alloy cloth seal dating from the Post medieval period (1575 – 1800). It consists of two circular discs joined next to each other. One has a large circular hole in the centre and is not decorated. The other is decorated with a thistle. The thistle possibly indicats a connection with the Dukes of Lennox and Richmond, who controlled the alnage from 1605 onwards (see Finds research Group Datasheet 3, fig. 13a). A copper alloy square shaped coin weight possibly for the Thistle crown of James I (1603 – 1625). The weight is square and flat with straight sides. On one face is the design of a square topped shield containing what is probably a rampant lion. The back of the weight is corroded, but may be a thistle design. A cast copper alloy, double loop, trapezoidal buckle with openwork frame, dating from c. 1620-1680. The outer edge of each loop has a fleur de lis protrusion and is pierced with two rectangular holes. There are ovoid knops on the angles of the frame and a protrusion at either end of the strap bar. The copper alloy pin remains in place See Whitehead, Buckles 1250 - 1800, p. 85, No. 534. It is 52.5mm long, 33.9mm wide and 6.3mm thick. It weighs 12.67gm.

A cast copper alloy sword belt fitting hook plate with scrolled foliage decoration, dating from c. 1500-1700. The mount has a trilobed terminal, then a narrowed waist and a teardrop shaped body with side protrusions at the apex. The hook end has broken off and is missing. There are two rivet holes; one at the apex of the mount at the break, and one in the centre of the trilobed terminal, which still contains a copper alloy rivet. The mount has a dark green patina. One pieces from a copper alloy hook and eye dress fastener, dating from the 17th century. The mount is an oval plate with three projecting knops that each have a hole through them. A wide flat hook with the bent part broken off projects from one end. The plate is decorated with punched circles around the edges and a fleur-de-lys in the centre. A lozenge shaped lead alloy inkwell probably dating from 1600 - 1800. It has a thick base, and then steps inwards with a vertical walls forming a lozenge shaped container, with a rounded top. There is a elongated oval hole in the centre of the top. The object is badly gauged and scratched, and the base is rather concave, probably not intentionally. It has a length of 57.47mm, width 56.14mm, thickness 25.49mm, weight 349g. Similar inkwells are HESH-DB0E96, HESH-05C8E6, and LEIC-E84347, though none are of quite this design.

A copper alloy hooked tag probably dating from 1450-1600. The body of the hook is sub-rectangular, and openwork consisting of two heart shapes with the point of each touching the apex of the other. There are raised knops at each junction. A hook descends from the apex of the lower heart and bends backwards. The loop extends from the apex of the other hearts and is triangular. Part of a solid piece of copper alloy in the shape of a circle with one convex face. A little less than half of the circle is missing, probably intentionally. The object is elliptical in section. There is an area of roughening at the apex of the convex face and a faint line round the edge on the reverse.
