A cast copper alloy Medieval strap end. A composite type dating to the 14th century. It consists of two plates sandwiched together by a forked spacer. Each plate is rounded at the non-attachment end. There are two rivet holes with rivets at the attachment end. The three pieces are no longer attached to each other. The forked spacer is missing part of one 'arm'. The faces of both plates have have a mid green patina. The underside of the plates, as well as the forked spacer, are covered by light green corrosion product. Fragment of a Medieval or early Post-Medieval cast copper alloy object. A handle fragment from a cooking vessel such as a tripod, skillet or posnet. Dated circa AD 1400-1600. It consists of two thick pieces of copper alloy soldered together. One piece has a circular loop soldered onto the edge acting as a suspension loop? The other piece has a raised ring and dot decoration. The surface and edges of the object are very irregular and abraded, probably due to heat. A Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton. A 'ship-penny' jetton dating to circa 1490-1550. The obverse design is of a sailing ship and the reverse has four fleur de lis inside a lozenge. The inscription of these tokens would have been in French but this token is worn and therefore illegible. These are anonymous issues which were designed by jetton-makers in Nuremberg for the French market. Diameter 25.55mm, thickness 0.58mm , weight 1.3g. cf Mitchiner, 1988 ' Jetons, Medalets & Tokens - The Medieval period and Nuremberg' Vol 1. pages 365-375.nos, 1121-1186.

An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy buckle. A single loop buckle, D-shaped in plan, with buckle plate. The pin is missing. The frame is D-shaped in section. The strap bar is narrowed and offset. The plate is rectangular and made from a folded sheet secured with five domed rivets. There is a recess for the pin. Frame 17.41mm x 12.67mm. Plate 30.58mm x max 11.84mm. Weight 4.6g. The object is completely covered in a light green corrosion product. It is dated circa 1250-1500. ref: Whitehead, 2003 'Buckles 1250-1800', page 19, no. 59.

A Medieval cast copper alloy buckle. Only the frame survives of this single loop, oval buckle. The outer edge of the frame has a notched lip for the pin rest. Two pairs of transverse ridges flank the lip. The strap bar is narrowed and offset. Length 31.08mm, width 20.4mm, weight 3.2g. The object has a dark green patina. There are patches of light green corrosion product on the strap bar and the extended outer edge of the frame. It is dated circa 1250-1400. ref: Whitehead, 2003 'Buckles 1250-1800', page 23, no. 103
