A complete Roman silver coin: denarius Faustina under the reign of Marcus Aurelius, part of a hoard dating AD176. Reverse: VENVS. Mint: Rome. RIC 728 BMC 166. Reece period 7. Obverse: Bareheaded and draped bust right Obverse inscription: FAVSTINA AVGVSTA Reverse: Venus standing left Reverse inscription: VENVS
The three coins were within a circle of 10m and at a depth of around 15 cm.
