A complete Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of the rose-orb type, dating to around 1550-1575 AD. The jetton is decorated on the obverse and reverse with nonsense legends, which were common in the earlier issues; later these gave way to the master's name on the obverse and a motto on the reverse. The jetton has been quite crudely made and is mistruck; the copper alloy has a high brass content lending the surface a bright gold colour. Dimensions: diameter: 23.65mm; weight: 0.66g.

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton of the rose-orb type (late 16th – early 17th century). The jetton has folded along two sides towards the reverse; the obverse is consequently the outer face and has suffered more wear, so that the legend is illegible. The interior is also badly worn, but the legend suggests a motto would have been present, rather than a nonsense legend, putting the jetton in the latter half of the 16th century or early 17th century. Dimensions: diameter: approx. 23.13mm; weight: 0.86g.
