An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy seal matrix. From the reverse, a hexagon-sectioned handle would originally have projected, but this has broken off quite close to the circular die (engraved face) of the matrix. The six facets of the handle radiate gently outwards from the break as the matrix expands to the die. This has sustained a break at one edge, accounting for the loss of around 5-10% of the matrix face. The central motif is a pair of crossed hands with a fleur-de-lis above. An incomplete Medieval bone decorative inlay from a box or chest, probably dating 14th to 15th century. This fragment of bone inlay has two straight sides - a longer lower side and shorter vertical edge, and the longer upper side has a straight section before curving in an S-shape, the final shorter edge is broken. A Medieval - Post Medieval bone point dating from the 11th - 17th centuries. The point has an irregular triangular cross-section that tapers to form a point at one end (from 9.62mm to 1.42mm). There is also a slight tapering towards the opposing blunt end at the butt (from 9.62mm to 6.14mm). Irregular cut marks are scattered across one third of the length, nearest the blunt end. At this end there is a notch, it is difficult to determine if this is deliberate working or accidental damage. An incomplete Medieval iron spearhead dating to the 14th-15th centuries. This is a socketed spearhead with a triangular-shaped blade. There is a slight midrib extending down the midline of the blade before the bevelled cutting edges. The socket has been formed by hammering out the walls and curving them around with the edges overlapping. There is a single rivet still in situ to secure the shaft to the spearhead. A Medieval lead alloy pilgrim badge: Tau badge dating to the 15th century. This is a badge in the form of a Tau (19th letter of the Greek alphabet) decorated with beading around the edge and along both midlines and a ‘pearl’ at each outward facing corner. These ‘pearls’ are solid projections of ring and dot motifs. At the base is a small irregular projection; on other Tau badges there is a loop from which a bell would probably have been suspended. A Medieval copper alloy knife end plates, probably of Flemish origin dating to c.1450. The object comprises two copper alloy plates separated by iron corrosion which is probably the remains of the tang of the knife. There is a large central rivet which secures the two rivets to the iron tang. Each plate is decorated with an engraved design. The front surface of the frame is decorated with sunken rectangular panels; these are angled alternately on the inner and outer edges of the frame. A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy unifaced token, 1450-1750. The token has been cast from lead alloy in quite a worn or damaged mould; the uneven surface is also the result of damage sustained post-casting. The raised decoration on the obverse consists of a large central pellet surrounded by ten pellets arranged in a circle, inset slightly from the edge of the token. The reverse of the token is undecorated but badly pockmarked. The entire token has a dark brown-black patina. Dimensions: thickness: 2.63mm; diameter: 19.97mm; weight: 6.83g.

An incomplete and slightly mishapen section of cast lead rod, possibly a pencil of Medieval or Post Medieval date (1066-1650 AD). The pencil has a circular-section. One end is fairly flat with rounded edges, the opposite end tapers to a rounded point; it has a very slight bend to it in the centre. Although misshapen the object is in good condition and has a pale grey-beige patina overall. The pencil measures 32.86mm long and 5.23mm thick. It weighs 4.8 grams.

Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1250-1850 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The raised design on the front surface consists of 12 pellets, with three being arranged in a central triangle and the last nine arranged in a ring around them. The token measures 17.05mm in diameter, 1.82mm thick and weighs 3.3 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1850 AD).
