An incomplete medieval copper-alloy English jetton. Lion type from the late wardrobe series with four fleurs-de-lis arranged in a cross on the reverse, Berry type 1E, Mernick reference 5b.3, dating to c. 1350-c. 1400. Mint uncertain. See Mitchiner (1988, 118-119; nos. 254-255) The jetton has suffered significant losses at many parts of its circumference. It has a diameter of 23.95mm and weighs 1.78g. It has a central punch to the reverse.

An early medieval silver sceat, Series E (Secondary type), c.720-40, probably minted in the Netherlands. The obverse design belongs to Metcalf's variety C, although the obverse is different. Examples of the same obverse/reverse combination are listed in Metcalf and Op den Velde's sub-variety e (based on Variety C), especially numbers 1761-8. Ref: Metcalf, D M and Op Den Velde, W 2009-10 'The Monetary Economy of the Netherlands, c. 690-c. 760, and the trade with England: a study of the 'Porcupine' sceattas of Series E', Jaarboek voor Munt- en Penningkunde vols 96-7.
