End-stop of scale-tang knife of unusual form, a claw or similar, with remains of the iron tang in a slot and a single copper alloy rivet, now loose. The outer face of the claw carries two grooves separated by a broad flute. Length 12.5mm. Width 13mm. Thickness 8.5mm. Length of rivet 8mm. Width of tang 11mm. 16th century.

Incomplete, distorted unusual pair of copper alloy dividers, comprising rounded hinged top of a bent heavily cast blade, upper part of sub-triangular section with elaborate cusped central part, also of triangular section and ending iron corrosion along a slot in the median arris on the outer face from a probable iron point. Twin slots in the upper end contain the remains of two flat-sectioned blades, both with an obliquely-angled step broken at one edge where it narrowed and would have continued possibly as a pointer (both >29mm long). Length >84mm. Diameter of top 16mm. Probably 17th…

Copper alloy belt mount, possibly from a sword belt, slightly bent oval plate with small perforated lug at both ends, one containing corroded remains of iron rivet, two larger perforated lugs project from lower edge, counter-relief decoration comprises a central plant, with part projecting as a knop at upper edge, between two confronted heads in profile, a female head on the left and a bearded male head wearing a cap with engraved cross-hatching, rather like that found on the Saracen's head crest of Walpole. 53 x 28mm.
