An extremely worn and corroded copper-alloy Roman coin: either a 3rd-century radiate or a 4th-century nummus of uncertain emperor, reverse and mint (c. 260 - c. 402 AD). The design of the coin has been scratched off on both sides, and there is a pierced hole (Dia.: 2mm) 4mm from the edge of the coin; this suggests the coin was reused, probably in the early-medieval period.
