A medieval cast copper alloy composite strap end with solid sheet spacer. The strap end consists of two plates separated by a solid spacer for approximately one-third of the length. The plates and spacer are held together by an in situ copper alloy rivet (which is the same colour as the plates, indicating a similar or identical alloy was used). A medieval cast copper alloy oval single loop buckle with composite rigid plate; only the integral forker spacer of the plate remains, and the pin is missing. The buckle frame has an elongated ovoid knop on the outer edge opposite the plate, and the outer edge is bevelled. The pin bar section is slightly raised, indicating the plates would not have covered it, and it is notched to allow for a pin.
