A complete lead and iron weight of possible Roman date. The lead weight is roughly hemispherical in shape. There is an iron loop at the apex of the curved side, through which an iron penannular loop remains. This has a gap with a lump of metal on either side, suggesting that it is part of the original design rather than a later break. It may be an unusually shaped steelyard weight or similar.
