An incomplete gilded copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) sleeve clasp with zoomorphic ornament. The object is a flattened, elongated D-shape with a slightly curved rear edge and straight front edge. A small sub-rectangular section projects from the centre of the front edge with a hook-element projecting from its lower surface. The remains of two small, circular sewing holes can be seen in the centre of the rear-edge, but the outer parts of these are missing. A complete polychrome enamelled copper-alloy late Iron Age terret. The ring is a flattened oval-crescentic shape, increasing in width towards its apex. Each face is decorated with a raised curvilinear La Tène style decoration against a recessed field filled with the remains of red enamel. A late medieval or post-Medieval lead shield-shaped lead weight. The outer face is decorated with three upwards-pointing transverse chevrons. The surface of the metal is corroded and there is damage in places.  Biggs and Withers (2000, p.34-6) suggest that shield-shaped lead weights were introduced in the second half of the 14th century AD and remained in use as late as the 17th, 18th and even 19th centuries. A complete lead quatrefoil-shaped weight of probable medieval to early post-medieval date. The object is a flattened quatrefoil-shaped. Its outer face has a raised lozenge-shaped in the centre, its corners extending to the outer edges of the object and its outer face decorated with a raised fleur-de-lis. The outer face of each corner lobe is then decorated with three raised pellets and a raised linear border around its outer each. Similar examples can be found in Biggs and Withers (2000, 49, nos.154&155) who describe these as goldsmith's weights. See PAS records…

A complete copper-alloy late Iron Age to Roman zoomorphic strap or harness fitting. It is composed of two adjoining sections - a circular loop and a zoomorphic terminal that projects to one side. The loop is circular in cross-section and is 20mm in external diameter and 9.96mm thick. The zoomorphic terminal is shaped like an animal's head with a wide face and protruding, upwards-pointing snout. An incomplete enamelled copper-alloy Roman plate brooch. It is a flattened disc-shape. Its outer face is decorated with a raised line around the outer edge, a raised zigzag line in a ring inside this and a central raised ring. There are small, raised triangles within each internal point of the zigzag line. Traces of blue enamel can be seen between the outer line and the zigzag one and red enamelled between the zigzag line and the central ring. No enamel is visible within the central ring.
