A copper alloy early post-medieval dress hook of Read's Class D, Type 6. The object is trefoil in plan with a complete rearward facing hook. The object consists of a copper alloy back plate with undulating edges and three hollow-domed bosses each of which has three circles of twisted wire and six raised pellets. In the centre of the trefoil is a raised wire circle or collet which may have held a stone. A separate soldered wire loop and wire hook are attached to the rear of the back plate. A cast copper alloy incomplete spearhead of late Bronze Age date. The object can be classified from Group 16 Blade openings (Davis, R. 2015. The Late Bronze Age spearheads of Britain. [PBF V.7]. Stuttgart: Franz Steiner.). The object has a sub-triangular blade which is broken at the tip. One long barb remains but is damaged and measures 35mm in length, from the break to the base of the blade. The socket flares outwards in width measuring 9mm in diameter. An incomplete copper alloy dress hook of post-medieval date. The object is in the form of a moulded scallop shell with a curved edge which is beaded and engrailed. There is a rounded knop at the juncture of the plate and the hook. The hook which is rearward facing is broken where it begins to curve. The sub-rectangular attachment loop is missing however the small scallop shell knop at either side remains. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition. A lead alloy spindle whorl of medieval date. The object is circular in plan and conical with a central circular perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 11mm. Each face is worn with no visible decoration. The upper face is pitted in places. The object has a mid-white patina and is worn. Dimensions: 31mm in diameter, 7mm thick, 29.5g. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the medieval period c.1100-1500.

A copper alloy rectangular buckle of medieval date. The buckle frame is oval in cross-section and undecorated. The frame has been distorted probably due to damage within the plough soil. One side of the frame is notched for the pin to rest, the pin is missing. It has a brownish green patina. Dimensions: 18mm in length, 16mm in width, 1.6g Similar examples of buckles can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p26 dated to c.1300-1500.

A copper alloy single looped buckle of medieval date. The buckle has an oval frame and an integral, forked spacer with one sheet plate remaining attached. The buckle frame is lipped however there is no notch for the pin to rest on. The pin is missing. The remaining sheet plate on the outer face of the object appears to be undecorated and has a dark black patina. An incomplete copper alloy double looped buckle of Post-Medieval date. The buckle would have been trapezoidal when complete however only one loop and the strap bar remains. The rear of the object is flat and the pin is missing. The remaining loop has a pointed expanded outer frame while either side of the strap bar is a lobed protrusion. The buckle frame is decorated with a series of stamped circles or rings. The buckle has a mid-brown patina. The strap bar is slightly recessed and the buckle frame is undecorated. The pin is missing. The buckle has a mid-green patina however the buckle has been coated in olive oil obscuring the patina and damaging the object. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead (2003), p53. Treasure Case 2017 T668: A complete silver Medieval to post-Medieval stud (c.1400-c.1550). The stud is lozenge-shaped with a trefoil knop at each corner. Moulded decoration at the front is in the form of a formal flower motif consisting of a central pellet surrounded by twelve similar but slightly smaller pellets. The obverse of the token depicts a lion facing left, rampant, within a circular border in the form of a belt or garter. At the top of the token above the lion, a tri-lobed crown is visible. A lead alloy seal matrix of medieval date. The object is circular in plan and flat with an integral sub-rectangular loop or handle which is pierced. The front of the object has a central design of a long cross with a single pellet in each quarter and a pellet in the centre. Surrounding this the legend may read (S'CASOVW) however it is very shallow, difficult to decipher and possibly blundered. The object has a light brown patina and is in fair condition. Dimensions: 25mm in diameter, 10mm thick, 21.3g. A similar example which can be found on the database is SUSS-1845E4.
