Object type: CASTING WASTE
Broad period: UNKNOWN
County: Shropshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
A fragment of lead alloy casting waste of uncertain date. The object is sub-oval in plan and is flat. One surface is smooth and worn while the opposite face has a raised ridge, possibly a casting seem. Dimensions: 30mm in length, 25mm in width, 5mm thick, 14.4g Casting waste is very hard to date in isolation.
