An incomplete lead alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla, dating from c. AD 1350-1530. The bowl is semi-circular in plan and the neck is sub-rectangular in cross-section flaring outwards at the top. The flask is decorated on one face with a scalloped-edge pattern reaching from the centre to the bottom of the flask. The opposite face appears to be undecorated however the decoration may just not be visible due to wear. The top of the ampulla is pressed together. An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to the Roman period. The brooch has atypical oval or 'trumpet' shaped head. The bow tapers in width down the bow where it terminates with an ancient break above the foot. In the centre of the bow is an oval waist moulding consisting of a raised central ridge, bordered by a ridge on each side and another ridge both above and below. An incomplete copper alloy S-shaped 'snake belt' fastener, dating to the Post-Medieval period, (c. AD 1575 -c.1800). This fastener is in the form of a curved snake forming two hooks. The fastener is decorated on one face with an animal head terminal at one end and with worn moulded scale-like decoration. The snake has raised and rounded pellets representing the eyes. A copper alloy fragment of a spur of post-medieval date. The surviving fragment consists of an incomplete arm with an integral figure of eight terminal. This is where the connecting and securing buckles would have been located. The incomplete end terminates with an ancient break. The arm is D-shaped in cross-section. A complete copper alloy probable toggle, or possible awl, of uncertain dating, but probably Post Medieval (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The probable toggle is a pointed oval shape with a circular cross section. Both ends narrow to a blunt point. A narrowed waist is present at the centre. The probable toggle is a greyish-green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss in some of the surface detail.
