A near complete but worn cast copper-alloy and silver Hiberno-Scandinavian-style Early Medieval strap-end, dating to the latter ninth to eleventh centuries.  A cast silver gilt looped portion of a post-medieval dress fastener. The item is sub-triangular in shape and is formed of the head and wings of a cherub. Below the head is a large open D-shaped loop, into which the hook part of the garment fastener would slide. Above the head are two smaller sub-circular attachment loops, through which thread would pass to sew the fastener into a garment. A complete gold post-medieval finger ring, a posy or poem ring of late 17th or early 18th century date. The finger ring has a plain D-shaped band with internal inscription in cursive script which reads 'for virtues sake my wife I take'. Following the inscription is a maker's mark of IB within a sub-rectangular cartouche. Finger rings with similar cursive script are dated from c. 1650 - 1750 AD however the maker's mark may be that of Joseph Berry, who is recorded as being 'Free of the Goldsmiths' Company' AD 1675 - 1697 (date of death unknown). A medieval silver penny of Stephen (AD 1135-1154), Irregular Issue, Midlands and South-Western Area (North 887; cf. Mack 181-2), struck by Rogier at the Oxford mint. Ref: North 1994: 206-7; Mack 1966: 69-70. The coin is complete and hardly worn, well struck slightly off-centre. There is a straight crease across the coin, below the centre - the finder reports that he found the coin bent and had it straightened before realising what the coin was.

A complete cast copper alloy (with high tin content) Iron Age potin of the Cantiaci (Kent) / South-Eastern Region dating to c.80-50 BC. Rounded Bull type cf. ABC 165. BMC 705-709. David Holman writes: This is a previously unrecorded variety. The nearest parallel is Holman type E1/4-5b, which has the same reverse but an obverse with the face joined to the top of the head. This new variety has a detached face. The obverse also has a stylistic link to E3/4-4a, also from Bucks, although the reverse is quite different.

A worn and incomplete large cast copper alloy Iron Age enamelled flat-ring terret, dating from c. 50 BC to c. AD 70. The terret ring retains over a third of the flat decorated ring, a short length of the strap bar and one roundel.
