A complete lead alloy token or tally of post-medieval date. The token is unifaced, having cast initials C R on one side; these initials are in retrograde, a feature commonly seen on tokens of this date. Lead tokens are difficult to date precisely and could be medieval to post medieval in date. Those with initials are thought to be post medieval, c.AD 1550-1800. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally.

A complete but bent copper alloy commemorative mount dating to the 19th century. The mount has two rectangular fields, slightly curved, one above the other, with the upper most field smaller than the lower one. The upper field bears the word WATERLOO, the lower field PENINSULA. Therefore this mount appears commemorate the British success of the Peninsula War (AD 1808-1814) culminating with the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. The mount may have been attached to a military company's plaque. Suggested date AD 1815-1900.

A complete silver finger ring or mount of later post-medieval date (c. 18th century). The ring is now oval in plan and has a D-shaped cross section. The ring is decorated with raised saltires around the entirity of the outer hoop. The inner hoop is plain and undecorated. The finger ring has been made from a strip of silver which has been cut and then soldered together to obtain the correct size; the soldering has damaged the decoration on the outer hoop and could be considered untidy for a finger ring of this date in silver, which indicates that it may not have functioned as a finger …

A worn but complete gold stater, attributed to the Southern tribes of the Atrebates or Regini, dating to 60-50 BC. A Selsey-type, probably ABC 485, the 'Selsey two-face' type. The obverse is quite worn and details are hard to make out, however the attributes of the reverse suggest that ABC 485 is most likely.

A large lead alloy mount in the form of a male's face, probably dating from the post-medieval to modern period. The face depicts a man with long hair and a beard, possibly wearing a crown and is probably a representation of Jesus. The features are all quite well defined, with a raised brow, nose lips and beard all clear. Although there is some damage to the mount it is in good condition. A bent copper alloy post-medieval book fitting or clasp, dating from c. AD 1500-1700. The fitting is formed of a rectangular plate with splayed foot and squared head, where the turned clasp is located. There are three rivet holes at the foot and one part-way up the body. The plate is decorated with double ring-and-dot decoration at the foot, horizontal banding within a squared border at the top, with small linear incisions beneath another rivet.

A complete copper alloy medieval horse harness pendant. The pendant has a lozenge-shaped main body that is decorated with a fleur-de-lys pattern. Blue enamel surround this pattern; there is no enamel left within the lys but it is likely this too would have been coloured. A simple shank extends from the top of the main body of the pendant, with a loop set perpendicular; this is now corroded but appears to retain some of the pin to connect it to the hinged harness mount. A copper alloy annular buckle dating to the medieval period. The buckle is plain and has an elliptical cross section. A simple copper alloy pin (now missing its tip) is lopped around the frame. A copper alloy strap fitting (strap union) dating to the late Iron Age, c. 100 BC - AD 100. The strap union is formed of two co-joining dished roundels that form a figure of eight, bounded down each length by a narrow and rounded strap bar. The reverse is flat. The roundels and the object has been covered in wax by the finder. This strap union can be classed as Taylor & Brailsford's (1985) Type 1 and is similar to nos 14 and 16 in the same publication.

A cast copper alloy miniature axe, probably a votive object. The axe has a flat bladed cutting edge set perpendicular to the main body of the axe and the shaft hole. The axe is in good condition and has a deep brown patina. Although most miniature or votive axes are assigned to the Roman period, there is suggestion that some pre-date this era; the style and patina on this object does suggest an earlier date.

The strap end is 'tongue-shaped' being broadly rectangular in plan but having one rounded end; there are several oval cells of openwork spaced around the outside of a moulded central crucifix-shaped design in raised relief, probably representing a figure with outstretched arms. An Anglo-Scandinavian openwork clasp, possibly a book clasp, dating from the second half of the 11th century. The clasp thick but relatively flat, so can be allocated to Howsam's type A.1.3. It is in the guise of a curled serpent, with its head protruding towards the front of the clasp. The face of the serpent has hole through from one side of its face to another. The rear end of the object has two short bars for the suspension of an thin iron rod. The reverse of the object is plain and undecorated. Compare NMS-0BD8D3 and KENT-E3FF15.

This heavy gold ring with D-shaped section is decorated on the exterior with pansy sprays and other flowers, once enamelled though no traces of the enamel survive.
