The head is polyhedral in form (a cuboid with the corners cut off) and has thirteen faces. The faces are worn and undecorated, and there is a raised transverse collar at the join of head and shaft. A copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date. The frame is as Meols Type C with trapezoidal frame that has an offset and narrowed bar, and expanded rectangular outer edge. The outer edge has a central pin rest comprising three transverse grooves, with single grooves at top and bottom where the outer edge meets the sides. Hinging around the bar is a separately cast copper-alloy buckle plate.
