An iron horseshoe of Post-Medieval date. It is U-shaped in form with one branch tapering to a narrow square heel-end, the opposite branch to a broader heel that is cut at an angle. Neither heel end has a calkin. On one face there is a groove, or fuller, running around the outer edge into which are sunk rectangular nail holes. Three are visible on one side, while at least two are visible on the other but the precise number is uncertain due to post-depositional corrosion. An incomplete cast copper-alloy long brooch of Early-Medieval date, possibly an incomplete cruciform brooch. It is missing most of the foot and the pin due to old breaks. The headplate is rectangular in form with a raised central panel that is trapezoidal in form, tapering towards the top of the head. A complete copper-alloy thimble of Medieval date, slightly flattened due to post-depositional damage. It has a thickened rim with double incised/engraved parallel grooves, straight sides and a dome-shaped top. Small unevenly positioned circular indentations spiral upwards from the rim to the centre of the top, which has a bare tonsure with a central circular indentation. It measures 16.95mm in height, 18.98mm in diameter (slightly flattened) at the rim, and weighs 3.10g.
