A medieval gold finger-ring dating to the 13th-14th centuries. Description: The oval bezel is conical in profile, and is formed of two parts: the base is in the 'pie-dish' style with crimped edge (probably nicked or serrated), and the collet or upper part is concave in profile. The bezel is empty and missing its original setting.The hoop is slender and widens at the shoulders. Dimensions: diameter of finger-ring 22 mm, maximum height 25 mm; length of bezel 7 mm, width of bezel 6 mm.

A twisted wire copper alloy brooch of modern date. The brooch survives as a ring made of four circular cross sectioned bands of copper alloy that have been twisted together. The item has been heavily cleaned so it is difficult to date from patina; no parallels have yet been found. The item is 26.1mm in diameter, 6.1mm thick and weighs 12.17 grams.

A Roman very worn cast copper-alloy looped handle escutcheon plate attachment for a vessel, c.AD43-250. The object is triangular in plan with an integral looped handle attachment with is mishapen with ware. The reverse is curved to fit against a curved rim of the vessel. The front of the escutcheon is decorated with a moulded male bust with a prominannt hair detail. There is iron staining on both side of the object. A fragment of possibly Roman ceramic greyware jar (AD 43-410). The sherd is a wheel thrown rim fragment of a coarse dark grey ware with well sorted sand and or quartzite inclusion. The rim is flat this a sharp bend through 90 degrees to a horizontal neck before broadening to a 45 degree shoulder. The fragment is 52.6mm high, 67.8mm wide, 7.5mm thick and weighs 50.78 grams

A copper alloy seal matrix of later medieval date (1250 - 1450 AD). The seal matrix is circular in plan with a rectangular cross section. The reverse face is plain and undecorated. It has a vertical rib which divides the reverse evenly into two parts - the upper part extends to form an attachment loop. The front face of the matrix depicts a central design around which is an inscription. A fragment of a copper alloy spear probably dating to the Middle or Late Bronze Age (c. 1500-800 BC). The fragment consists of the tip of the spear blade, which is triangular in plan. The tip is slender with a pronounced middle rib which tapers to the edges in 'wings', creating a rounded lozenge-shaped cross section. The fragment terminates in an irregular old break. The spear tip measures 34.2mm long, 13.2mm wide, 4.4mm thick and weighs 4.62 grams. A fragment of late Roman or possibly very Early Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, c.AD 375-450, Hawkes & Dunning type 1A. The fragment consists of one side of the broadly 'D' shaped buckle frame including part of the narrowed strap bar, the side edge and part of the moulded decoration of the wider end of the frame. The item appears to be the tip of a larger object, most likely a blade, which was rectangular in plan before tapering to a point and elliptical in cross section. The wider end of the object has been modified with two triangular notches cut into the flat end. The purpose of this modification is unknown. The object is 26.9mm long, 9.6mm wide, 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.71 grams.
