A modified blade of probably Bronze Age date. The item appears to be the tip of a larger object, most likely a blade, which was rectangular in plan before tapering to a point and elliptical in cross section. The wider end of the object has been modified with two triangular notches cut into the flat end. The purpose of this modification is unknown.
The object is 26.9mm long, 9.6mm wide, 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.71 grams.

An early medieval copper alloy strap end of Thomas Class B, Type 1 dating to the period c. AD 700 - 1099. The strap end has a split end with two rivet holes one of which still contains a copper alloy rivet in situ. It is heavily worn and is bent approximately two thirds along its length. A raised moulded horizontal band is visible just above the stylised zoomorphic terminal. The terminal is in the form of a animal's head, with two parallel recesses to mark the ears below which are two circular recesses to indicate the eyes. The strap end has a smooth dark brown patina.

An unpatinated flint implement, possibly a burin or reworked scarper of later Prehistoric date. Dark grey to black flint with a prominent striking platform and bulb of percussion. The dorsal face has short, abrupt and scaled retouch, perhaps for usage as a scraper or similar tool. The opposite end has a rectangular projection that is triangular in cross-section with short, semi-abrupt and scaled retouch along oth sides and its terminal end. An Early-Medieval/Anglo-Scandinavian stirrup mount of Williams's Class B. Type 1, Group 1. It comprises a flat, trapezoidal plate with angled and curved flange, moulded front face and slightly concave back face. The front face is extremely worn and difficult to identify. A copper-alloy open type thimble or 'sewing ring', of Late Medieval to Early Post-Medieval date (1400-1600). It is made of single sheet of copper alloy with rows of punched or drilled pits which line up vertically.
The walls are slightly splayed. This is to allow an easier fit on the finger and is also chronologically diagnostic to the Late Medieval or Early Post-Medieval periods (Holmes 1988, 3). The ring is decorated with functional circular punched depressions, arranged fairly regularly in four concentric circles.

A Post medieval copper alloy mount , AD.1600-1700. The mount is shaped like a trapezoidal in plan with a trefoil shaped knop at one end and two rounded lugs protruding from either side. The upper surface has moulded decoration and possible evidence for tinning. The reverse has two projecting lugs that have been bent over in order to attach the object. A fragment of leather is still present between the lugs. There is a third perforated lug behind the trefoil know of unknown function. See Read 2001 no.322,324 and 330 for similar parallels.

A complete copper alloy Harness Pendant of the medieval Period, dating from AD 1200 - AD 1400.
The pendant is a "heater" shield shaped type (flat top with sides sloping steeply to a point). On the flat edge is an integral suspension loop set at a right angle to the pendant; the loop has been broken away by an olg break. A lead Post Medieval cloth seal dating to AD c1500-1700. The seal comprises two circular plates joined with a tab. The main section comprises a sub-circular front panel with stamped lettering comprising a large LN below a small CXXL.
The seal is 21.4mm in diameter, 5.4mm thick and weighs 10.90 grams.

A fragment of a Roman (AD c.100-410) copper alloy penannular bracelet. The fragments consists of part of the hoop of the bracelet which is circular in cross-section and 5.7mm in diameter. Both ends of the fragment terminate in an old break. There is a fracture part way along the length of the bracelet. Although rather worn, where the original patina does survive it is a mid-green in colour, smooth and shiny. The colour of the bracelet suggests a Roman date similar to others recorded on the database, eg: HAMP-11A26B.
The fragment is 66.6mm long, 5.9m thick and weighs 16.28 grams.

Cast copper-alloy pots were commonly in use between the 13th to 18th centuries AD.a similar object can be found in Egan, G. 1998. The Medieval Household. Daily Living c.1150-c.1450. pg.164. Fig. 132. No.460.
The object is 31.8mm long, 30.5mm wide, 18.1mm thick and weighs 58.78 grams.
