Complete large moulded white clay pipe thought to be part of a furnace, filtration system or similar. The pipe consists of a rounded 90 degree bend reminiscent of a very large clay tobacco pipe bowl. It has a pierced wire dish (?mesh) set into the base of the mouth. The diameter opening of the mesh end is 27.7mm and the opposite end is smaller at 19.5mm. It is very lightweight for the size at 304g. No parallel has been found for this item which is thought to be connected to some form of industrial activity. Dated provisionally as c.1800-1950.

Worked lithic implement of Neolithic, probably Early Neolithic date. The flint is of an amber-brown mottled colour with partial cortex remaining along the distal edge. The flake is approximately 3 times longer than it is wide and has abrupt or semi-abrupt sub-parallel retouch evident on both edges and the proximal end but not at the distal end where the cortex remains This retouch is only partial along the two longer sides, with one edge appering to have a slightly concave scraper segment. Nine flakes of flint knapping debitage (waste material) of varying dates and patinas but mostly of grey-cream-orange colouration. Each fragment carries signs of having been knapped such as ridges, bulbs or percussion, striking platforms and ripples. There is no evidence of retouch. The size of two of the flakes indicates a Mesolithic date but collections of debitage are difficult to date where no tools or implements are also found. Dated broadly as Paleaolithic to Neolithic.

Unidentified object, possibly designed to serve as a seal. The item consists of a sub-oval lead plate with three incomplete prongs projecting from one edge. The reverse has an incised oval line around the perimeter and the front has the impression of the obverse of a coin of Queen Anne, a guinea or shilling based on the size showing a bust of Queen Anne with ANNA DEI GRATIA (in reverse) inscribed around. Complete but worn copper-alloy mount of later Medieval to early Post Medieval date c.1400-1600. The mount consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a raised moulded design on the front and three attachment prongs on the reverse. The design is symmetrical and consists of a central square and to either side of this an open sub-circular loop and forming each terminal a triangle. There are traces of a white metal coating on the surface, probably tinning or silvering. See LEIC-6AFEE1 for a more well-preserved example of a similar type of mount.

An complete post-Medieval copper-alloy trapezoidal double-looped buckle frame, c.1620-c.1680. The pin is missing. The frame, is basically symmetrical formed by two trapezoidal loops with knops at each corner. The triangular outer edges to either side of the frame have a transverse pin rest formed of a simple incised line and there is a also a horizontal incised line running the length of each edge. There is also a lobed knop at each end of the narrowed pin bar, which is rectangular in cross-section. A very similar example can be seen in Whitehead's, 'Buckles 1250-1800', page 83 no 520.

A complete copper alloy probable seal finger ring, dating to the Medieval period, between AD 1300-1500. The hoop is sub-circular in section and very large (24.5mm x 21.8mm internally) possibly for wearing over gloves and probably a belonging to a man. It has a flat sub circular bezel with an incised design of a four petalled (quatrefoil) flower with a stem. This design may have been infilled with enamel or left open to serve as a seal matrix.

Copper alloy Medieval bell pendant, probably forming part of horse harness decoration. The sheet metal bell has an integrally cast long shank with suspension loop. The loop is now broken and incomplete. The bell is globular in shape and formed by the folding inwards of four triangular leaves of sheet metal. This leaves a narrow saltire cross shaped aperture at the base.
