Medieval copper alloy folding strap clasp frame with decorative outer edge in the form of a king's head, dated 14th century c.1300-1400. The king's face is triangular with incised facial features; the crown has four circular piercings between the fleurs. The rectangular clasp frame which projects from below the king's head has slightly convex sides which are a shallow D-shape in section and a sub-circular sectioned narrowed strap bar. See Egan & Pritchard 1991, 'Dress Accessories', for an identical clasp, p.119-20, fig 78, no.568.

An incomplete copper alloy Medieval (c.1200-1400) horse harness pendant suspension mount. The mount consists of a flat square plate (c.14mm square) with a pierced semi-circular lug above for attachment and a corresponding circular piercing below also for attachment. This lower piercing is flanked by a downward curving sub-circular sectioned arm to either side and a pair of D-sectioned arms between. Roman pottery fragment; rim sherd of a mortarium bowl with maker's stamp. Unglazed cream buff pottery with traces of a possible light brown wash - probably an example of the wares produced at the Mancetter and Hartshill potteries (Warwickshire/Leicestershire borders) from the 2nd to 4th centuries AD. The sherd has a hooked flange and a beaded rim. There is a maker's mark on the rim which possibly reads IVNIVS set within a border of triangles. IVNIVS is a a name identified as working at the Mancetter/Hartshill kilns during the period AD 150-185.

Incomplete late Victorian copper alloy dress lifter. Dress lifters were used to prevent long dresses from trailing in the mud by hoisting the skirt up. A chain attachment to the item would allow the wearer to lift her skirts up and down without having to bend. This example is in the form of a horseshoe with a screw-thread clamp and is possibly an example of Fyfe's ABC Patent 1876 Horse Shoe Skirt Lifter. Dated c.1870-1900.

A complete flint plano-convex knife of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c.2700 BC to c.1600 BC). The knife is of an elongated pointed sub-oval shape, with a flat, hinge fracture at the distal end. The knife has a D shaped cross section. The flint is of a dark mottled grey-brown colour. Remains of the cortex (outer rind) are present along the midline of the dorsal surface and this is an orange-brown colour. The knife has been made from a piece of secondary debitage. A copper-alloy ring, probably a finger ring, of probable late Iron Age or Roman date (50BC - 300 AD). The ring is cast in one piece and is relatively large and heavy. It has been much abraded in the plough soil and lost a considerable amount of its surface patina. The ring is relatively uniform in diameter and B-shaped in cross section. The B-shape profile is formed due to a single circumferential groove. The ring has a maximum outer diameter of 27.8mm and a maximum internal diameter of 21.3mm. The mount is roughly tongue-shaped with a tapering spike projecting from one end and a broken terminal at the other end - the original overall shapeof these terminals is unclear due to heavy wear of the edges. Complete copper alloy buckle frame. The frame is asymmetric with an oval loop and a smaller trapezoidal loop for attachment to the strap. The pin is missing and there is a groove around the centre of the strap bar between the two loops where this would have rotated. The frame is roughly flat on both faces with file marks still evident, the trapezoidal loop is sub-square in section whilst the oval loop is more D-shaped in section.
