Late Iron Age/Early Roman brooch: a copper alloy Colchester type bow brooch. The brooch is simple and undecorated, and slightly deformed. Originally it would have been formed from a single piece of copper alloy, but the piece used to form the spring and pin is now lost. The head has been deformed, but retains its short crossbar and hook used for spring security. The bow is gently curved with an oval cross-section, and undecorated, while the catchplate is large, triangular, and undecorated.

Iron Age brooch: Cast copper alloy Colchester one-piece, c.55mm long when straight, 13mm wide (broken) and 13m deep at the head. The brooch is in poor condition with a patchy green-brown patina, and weighs 3.36 grams. The pin is no longer extant, but part of the spring remains, showing with a ridge running its length, but no decoration is visible (perhaps simply an effect of its condition of preservation). Only a small fragment of he catchplate (closest to the bow) is intact, and it is not possible to determine whether it was perforated.

The head of the bow bears the remnant of a 5.7mm diameter stud. The head and foot bear simple line ornament, but the bow itself is unornamented.
