A fragment of a silver gilt post-medieval finger-ring, dating to the period AD 1500-1650. The fragment is rectangular in shape, with three bands running horizontally. The central band is plain, but with three incised letters- "ART", with what might be an "H" before and faint traces after the final letter which may be another letter or start of a new word. A complete Roman silver finger-ring, dating to the period c. AD 300-450. The silver ring is Brancaster Henig type XV with a rectangular bezel and the hoop which widens slightly towards the bezel. The bezel, broadly rectangular in shape and measuring 10.01mm wide and 8.42mm in height, is flat on the inner face and slightly convex on the outer face. On the face of the bezel, there is decoration which appears to show a creature curled twice around its tail and widening towards a broad flat head, like a sea-dragon or wyrm. A copper-alloy medieval 'stirrup'-shaped finger-ring. (c. 1175-c. 1450). The hoop is slender and rises to a pointed bezel. At the top of the bezel there is a circular recess for a setting of turquoise glass or semi precious stone. The hoop is 'D'-shaped in cross-section. This ring is similar to examples from London (Egan and Pritchard 1991: 326, refs: 1608, 1609). It is suggested that this form was popular from the mid-12th to the mid-15th century. An incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring. The bezel is oval with a raised circumferential ridge with a central oval recess to hold the setting which is now missing. The shoulders expand slightly from the bezel (6.1mm wide) to a raised transverse band, the shoulders are decorated with transverse grooves forming a ropework design (8.35mm maximum width) which tapers to the break 3.15mm wide, the band at the break is D shaped in cross section. The majority of the band is missing. The finger ring 19.75mm in length, 10.25mm wide, 2.0mm thick and weighs 1.47 grams.

The bezel features a circular recess approximately 9.5mm in diameter and 1.9mm deep. The ring narrows from the bezel towards the bottom of the hoop (maximum width 10.3mm, to a minimum of 2.8mm) and is of inconsistent thickness. It weighs 1.02 grams.

Only fragments of the shoulders remain, the surviving section is undecorated. The finger ring is 13.6mm in length, 7.45mm wide, 4.45mm thick and weighs 0.88 grams.

An incomplete late medieval silver gilt finger ring. The rectangular bezel is divided into two facets by a raised rib running the width of the bezel and down the surviving shoulder of the ring. Each facet is decorated by incised grooves, possibly making up a foliate motif, although the design is heavily worn. The hoop tapers in thickness form the shoulders to the bottom of the hoop and terminates in a break. The finger ring is 8.05mm wide at the cut and tapers to 1.9mm wide at the terminal. The bracelet is decorated with three three horizontal incisions located just above the terminal. The finger ring is 22.5mm in length 11.8mm wide and weighs 2.75 grams.

A Roman gem-set gold finger ring. The finger ring is broadly circular in plan though slightly distorted. The plain band is of softened rectangular cross section. The broad triangular shoulders are decorated with transverse mouldings and feathered edges. The bezel (9.85mm in length and 3.85mm wide) comprises a row of three raised sub-rectangular/ ovoid rubbed-over box-settings (2.75mm high), the central one flanked by three tiny gold spherical pellets (the fourth one now missing). The two outer settings contain green-coloured gems, but the centre setting is now empty.
