Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 4.i1, lanceolate motif, flat wing ends type, West Midlands) and 2nd-mid-3rd century AD date. The brooch is near-complete, missing the pin (with a distorted length of 63.3mm and a weight of 17.8g). The spring mechanism is secured within a Polden Hill claw type arrangement. The wings have expanded terminals (with a width of 22.1mm) and are otherwise plain. The sides of the head have a low curved moulding (giving the head a width of 11.9mm). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of T-shaped or Headstud type and 1st or 2nd century date
The brooch is incomplete and is represented by the head only (with a surviving length of 17.1mm and a weight of 10.7g). The hinge of the pin survives and is secured within tubular wings (with an eroded width of 26.4mm). The wings are of D-shaped section with the flat front carrying cast ribbed decoration. A late Roman copper alloy Grooved Collar, Variant 1 nail-cleaner The nail-cleaner was cast and is near-complete, missing the forked-end (with a distorted surviving length of 61.2mm and a weight of 4.0g). At the top of the shaft is a circular loop (5.6mm diameter loop with 2.8mm diameter perforation) through rectangular sectioned plate (1.4mm thick). Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from c. 2,500 – 2,000 BC
The arrowhead appears complete but may have a damaged barb (with a length of 29.7mm, a width of 23.8mm, a thickness of 4.2mm and a weight of 2.6g). The arrowhead is made on a convex flake with only slight and marginal retouch on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface has been pressure-flaked. The flint is non-cortical and has patinated grey.

Post Medieval copper alloy rumbler or croatal bell fragment, probably of 18th century date
The bell is represented by the loop and upper bell fragment only (with a surviving height of 209mm, a surviving width of 27.6mm and a weight of 9.7g). The integral loop is rectangular (20.9mm wide x 14.8mm high and 5.7mm thick; internal: 9.5mm wide, 7.8mm high). The sheet bell (with a thickness of 1.3mm) is plain on the surviving portion and is convex. The fragment has a mid-green patina.
