Medieval copper alloy annular brooch of 13th or 14th century date The brooch is near-complete, missing the pin and settings. The frame is circular with an external diameter of 47.3mm (30.3mm internal). The brooch frame comprises a plain outer bevelled edge, leading to the central ring with eight raised collets. The collets are irregular and oval (up to 8.7mm by 6.2mm) and give the brooch a maximum thickness of 7.34mm. All but one of the collets contains a white calcium deposit. Medieval lead seal matrix, dating to the 13th century The seal matrix is pointed oval in shape and is near-complete with some recent damage to the base with a surviving length of 38.20mm and a maximum width of 23.45mm. The frame is circular with a diameter of 16.6mm (internal diameter of 11.6mm), a thickness of 1.5mm and weighs 0.7g. The rear of the frame is bevelled and plain. The pin restriction has a width of 2.1mm and the bar has a diameter of 1.7mm. The opposite side of the frame has no notch for the pin. Medieval cast copper alloy thimble, probably of 15th or early 16th century date The thimble is near-complete with a length of 20.1mm and a weight of 8.0g. The rim is slightly damaged and has a diameter of 20.5mm. The walls have a thickness of 1.8mm. The rim is plain and has no incised border. The thimble has ten rows of hand-punched indentations, which end before the rounded top of the thimble, giving a plain apex of 6.8mm diameter. The thimable has good surface preservation with a pale to mid-green patina.

The lug is has an overall length of 16.3mm and weighs 8.6g. The central perforation is oval (8.4mm x 6.4mm) and the sides of the loop are rounded (maximum width 16.0mm), while the outside-end is flat. The loop is of rectangular section (8.9mm thick). The integral attachment rivet is circular with a diameter of 8.6mm.
