Five Mesolithic flint microliths, numbers refer to those on photograph.
1) Microlith Blade, weighing 0.62g. Mesolithic (8300-3500 BC). There are signs of retouch at the proximal end (butt) of the dorsal surface (upper face). On the ventral surface (lower face) the bulb of percussion and the waves are very shallow. At the distal end (tip) the tool has been deliberately broken signifying the flake was once longer. Length: 26.39mm, Width: 14.25mm, Thickness: 3.41mm.
