Cast copper alloy furniture or candle stick fitting. Post-Medieval to Modern in date. Probably early Victorian. The object takes the form of a mask with hollowed eyes and mouth. The figure wears a headdress consisting of a double line surmounted by 5 plumes, a central one with two smaller ones on either side. The figure also has a neck decoration to imitate a collar or necklace. The reverse of the object demonstrates two ‘hooks’ at the mouth level . The base of the object is flat and file marks can be seen.
