A worn and incomplete copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Constantine, dating to the period c. AD 330 - 340 (Reece Period 17). CONSTANTINOPOLIS type, depicting a helmeted Constantinopolis and Victory standing left on prow of boat, holding shield and sceptre. The coin has a small flan. Mint unclear. Note that the obverse legend does appear to have an unusual obverse legend break: CONSTANTIN - OPOLIS. Dimensions :- Diameter 14.6mm, thickness 0.9mm, and weight 1.0gm. Die Axis 6 o'clock.

Much of the flan edge is missing, leading to loss of legends and some surface design. Dimensions :- Diameter 17.2mm, thickness 1.6mm, and weight 2.2gm. Die Axis 6 o'clock.
