A fragment of a tobacco clay pipe stem, dating from the Post-Medieval period, c. AD 1650 - 1900. It measures 44.0mm in length, has a diameter of 6.4mm and weighs 2.4gm. It has a maker's name of A.CLEEVER along its side and the city of its manufacture - CAMBRIDGE parallel to it on its opposite side. The piece was found on the surface of the ground "eyes only", while metal-detecting. An Ann Cleever was a member of a family firm of Pipe makers, based in Newmarket Road, Cambridge c. AD 1864. A cast copper-alloy finial of uncertain function or date. It measures 56.9mm in height, has a diameter of 29.2mm and weighs 92.0gms. By design it has a rounded knop at its top, 8mm in diameter. From this the metal slopes outwards and down to its point of maximum diameter, where three raised lines circle its circumference. Below this the body is convex, narrowing to its position on a short pedestal which has a base diameter of 14.5mm. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval crotal bell, dating from the period c.AD 1600 - 1800. The bell has an integrally cast perforated suspension loop, perforation 4.2mm in diameter. There are two sound holes in its upper half, the bottom half has been damaged and half of it is missing. The remaining part has decoration on its surface of a curvilinear design, there is no evidence of a makers mark. A four disc and double rivet lead cloth seal from the 17th Century AD. One disc is stamped with a capital "H" in its centre, within a circle. Around the outside of the circle is the date 1669, and the word "CLOTH". The other inner disc has the stamped impression of a shield, bearing the Insignia of Charles II. Of the two outer discs one is perforated and the other has a double rivet (used like a split pin) on its underside. The back of the button has a centrally placed integral perforated shank. Diameter of the shank perforation is 3.3mm. The button is in good condition. A copper-alloy Thimble, probably dating to the Post-Medieval period c. AD 1700 - 1850. The crown of the thimble is smooth and has been coated with a grey metal. The thimble tapers upwards towards the crown from the base and its top half is patterned with diagonal lines of pits. The lower half of its side is circled by four lines of fine stippled marks. Its body is worn and has been slightly compressed and there are four short splits in its bottom rim. Dimensions: Height 22.0mm, weight 3.8gm, diameter (after straightening) 22.0mm. Diameter of the crown is 12.9mm.

A complete but damaged copper-alloy thimble dating from the Medieval to early Post-Medieval period c. AD 1350 - 1600. The thimble's top once round, indented with three circles of hand made pits, has been compressed into a rectangular shape 13.3mm x 7.7mm. The body of the thimble encircled seven times with lines of pits, has been similarly damaged. Around the base / edge there is a single plain band of design 1.8mm wide. There is some green patina on its surface. Dimensions: Height 17.3mm, weight 3.0grm and width of compressed base 25.4mm.

A copper-alloy Thimble, probably dating from the Post-Medieval period c. AD 1750 - 1850. The thimble has suffered compression damage and the loss of some of its lower edge. The crown has circles of machine imprinted pits, similarly the upper half of the body has them circling around it in a band 10.2mm in width. The lower half has a band of decoration 12.3mm wide of a scrolling foliate design, the two halves separated by an indented line. Dimensions: Height 23.5mm, width of compressed base 22.7mm, crown diameter 13.2mm and weight 5.5gm.

The object has been cast and is three dimensional with a small boss on its top measuring 3.9mm in diameter and raised 2.9mm. The acorn is positioned on a rectangular base plate measuring 25.0mm x 18.0mm. A thin, roughly circular piece of thin copper-alloy sheet is held between the base plate, and a rectangular bottom plate which measures 29.4mm x 28.0mm. A heavily worn Post-Medieval silver sixpence from the sole reign of William III, AD 1694-1702. This coin dates to AD1699 - 1702. It has been bent twice, into an "S" shape, indicating it has been used as a Love Token. Most of the coin's surface detail has been deliberately worn away, with none of the details of the legends surviving and only the faint outline of the top of William's bust remaining. Dimensions: Diameter 20.3mm, thickness 0.5mm and weight 2.3gm. Die axis is uncertain.
