A worn copper-alloy Post Medieval 17th Century Traders half pence token, dated AD 1668. Issued by Thomas Davie of Whittlesey.
Obverse reads: THOMAS.DA[VIE.]1668 and shows a flat topped shield bearing the Grocers' Arms. Reverse reads: OF [(rose) WHITTLE]SEY (rose) with: HIS/HALF/PENNY, below which: T.[E.]D. all within the central field. Initial mark: A large rose of five leaves. Dimensions : Diameter 18.2 mm, thickness 0.2 mm and weight 0.4 gm. Die Axis12 o'clock.

A complete cast lead-alloy token from a Medieval to Post Medieval date, AD1200 - 1850. Both sides of this circular token have raised relief design. On one side, the capital letters T , W , and H, are arranged around a central raised pellet. On the reverse side, the letter W is placed above the letter H. It has a creamy white oxidised patina, and is slightly bent across its diameter. The token measures 23.9mm in diameter, has a thickness of 2.4mm, and weighs 10.5g.

A cast lead alloy Token from a Medieval to Post Medieval date, AD1400-1800. Circular in shape with a raised relief crosshatch design on one side and blank on its reverse. On opposite edges, 7 - 2 o'clock, are the remains of casting sprues.
Objects like this one, could have been used as a redeemable payment for work done, or gaming pieces. The token measures 18.0mm in diameter, is 1.5mm thick, and weighs 3.0g.

A crudely cast lead alloy Token from a Medieval / Post Medieval date, AD 1400 - 1800. Its shape is more oblong than round, and it measures 22.04mm in length, and 18.43mm in width. On one side it has a raised crosshatch design, and the other side is flat and undecorated. At one end the token has the remains of a casting sprue, bent down and under.
Objects like this one could also have been used as a gaming pieces or Tallies.

An incomplete lead bifacial Post Medieval token, circa AD 1500 - 1850. Part of its edge is missing due to a casting fault. It has a diameter of 22.67mm, thickness 2.17mm, and weighs 5.5gm.
Both sides of the flan are bordered by marks in relief which may represent pseudo characters in an attempt to mimic a legend. At the centre of one side of flan linear markings in relief might suggest a foliate motif, possibly though unlikely with a letter 'P' at the top of a central stalk. An incomplete Post Medieval lead uniface token, dating to c. AD 1500 - 1850. The design possibly suggests it is a tree - - a central raised line ,(trunk), from which emerge a series of diagonal lines (14 Branches), all in relief.
The Token has a small circumferential loss, possibly caused at the time of its casting. But is otherwise in good condition.
It measures 19.28mm in diameter, has a thickness of 1.39mm, and weighs 3.2 gm.

A copper-alloy halfpenny Conder token of Iron Master, James Wilkinson, AD 1728-1808. Obverse shows wigged bust facing right. Obverse legend reads JOHN WILKINSON IRONMASTER. Reverse shows seated iron worker hammering metal on anvil, with date 1790 below this. Reverse legend reads HALFPENNY. Diameter is 29.2mm, thickness is 2.1mm, weight is 11.2g, and die axis is 6 o'clock.
Around the edge of the token are the place names BRADLEY, WILLEY, SNEDSHILL and BERSHAM, all places where Wilkinson established ironworks in the second half of the 18th century.

A complete Post Medieval cast lead token, circa AD1550 - AD1800. A slightly oval in shape uniface token with a raised design. The design has a central stem which has a fleur-de-lis terminal at one end. Radiating left and right from the stem along its length are four further lines which end with small pellet terminals. There are two domed pellets, one either side of the central stem. The token measures 20.3mm in length, 17.9mm in width, has a thickness of 1.9mm and weighs 3.6g.

A post-medieval lead unifacial token. Powell Type 2 depicting initials I(G), dating to c. 1550-c. 1750.
It measures 18.2mm in diameter, has a thickness of 2.5mm, and weighs 5.7g. The token is pale grey in colour, and in good condition. The crossbar on the letter I suggests a broadly 17th-century date.

An incomplete ,cast lead alloy token of uncertain date. A roughly circular lead alloy disc, which has a crudely cast "M "or an "E" like design on one surface. The reverse side is blank , and the token has begun to degrade around its circumference. It measures 22.3mm in diameter,has a thickness of 5.7mm, and weighs 7.5g. it is suggested that the token could be of Roman date however tokens of this type are hard to date with certainty, so broader dates have been given in the record.

A post-medieval lead probable unifacial token with punched incuse design dating to c. 1500-c. 1850.
The obverse features a cross with crescentic terminals. The flan appears to have been cut from a sheet of lead rather than cast. The object measures 34.7mm in length, is 22.3mm wide, has a thickness of 3.3mm, and weighs 26.4g. The cross design has been damaged by a deep diagonal gash, which looks to have been inflicted intentionally.

A post-medieval copper-alloy 19th-century theatre admission token issued by J Rouse of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London dating to 1812-1820.
The object measures 26.3mm in diameter; it has a thickness of 1.0mm, and weighs 3.8g. It has a small crack on its edge, but is in otherwise good condition. J. Rouse was a member of the management staff between 1812 and 1820.
