Copper alloy Roman finger ring dating to the 2nd century AD.
It has a circular cross section which widens at the bezel. The bezel has a circular hollow which would have held a stone but this is now missing. The ring has a dark brown patina.

Copper alloy part of a Roman divided proto-crossbow brooch dating from the 2nd- 3rd centuries AD. The brooch has a 3 ribbed bow and has broken before the foot. The ribs would have converged at a small flange before the foot of the bow. The headplate is triangular with a small knob at the apex and small rounded protrusions on the lower two corners. The knob is rounded at the front with a flat back. It has a collar before it meets the ehadplate. There are three ring and dot motif, one each at each corner of the plate.
