Copper alloy pin which has been cast, dating to the Early Medieval period. A cast copper alloy pin which is complete, the shaft is bent but the point is still present. The shaft is circular in section and tapers to a point. The head is multi-faceted, it is almost a cube with one corner meeting the shaft but the top surface is flat. The head has a flat top with no decoration on this face. The other faces are decorated by two concentric incised circles. This pin is an Anglo-Saxon type. Copper alloy buckle dating from the Medieval period. A complete copper alloy circular buckle. The pin is made from one strip of copper alloy which is hooked over the frame. The pin is sub-rectangular in section and has some incised lines as decoration near the hooked end . Similar examples can be seen on page 17 of Whitehead (Whitehead 2003).

Copper alloy strapend of Medieval date. The strap end is a Thomas Type E and dates from 900-1100 AD. It is tongue shaped and has two circular perforations at the flat end, one in each corner. It is decorated with an Anglo Saxon style interweaving decoration in relief. Some of the decoration retains a shine which was probably achieved by polishing.

Bronze toy cannon which probably dates to the Late Post Medieval period. The cannon is solid throughout and has a small circular drilled hole through its thickness, just before its terminal. At the terminal is a cylindrical knob. Below the hole are some moulded lines around the circumference of the cannon. There are two protruding cylindrical pieces at this place also. The toy ends in a flat edge.

Copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period. The matrix is a pointed oval shape and is complete as the attachment loop is still present on the back. The central picture is very clear but the inscription is not and so is hard to make out. The inscription reads +S'...TN/IVM...DIEM LOIMG(?) The central decoration consists of a figure of Mary holding the baby Jesus in the middle of 2 towers. These are either the gates to heaven or towers on a church or cathedral. Below the towers and underneath a pointed arch is kneeeling figure who is praying.

Copper alloy finger ring of indefinite date. Copper alloy ring which has an extched design on the bezel. The ring is not a complete hoop, the two ends overlap slightly. It could have been complete at the time of production and has broken through wear. The bezel is flat and sub-circular in plan. The decoration is an elephant facing left with a blanket on its back. Roman iron key which has been cast integrally. The key is solid throughout and appears complete. The bow is circular and leads to a square (in plan) section of the stem. This part of the stem is rectangular in section and is decorated by incised lines in the shape of an X across the surface of the stem. The stem then narrows to a more usual stem shape and is circular in section. The bit is square and has two equal clefts (or teeth), on the same side of the bit, which have now been filled in by corrosion.

Copper alloy bow brooch terminal dating from the Roman period. The terminal from a Roman bow brooch, possibly an enamelled hinged T-shaped brooch with a toothed edge, similar ones can be seen on page 95 in Roman Brooches in Britain (Bayley and Butcher 2004). The terminal is sub-triangular in plan with the top end being broken from the rest of the brooch. Crescentic shape with a small rectangular extension where the terminal was attached to the rest of the brooch. Copper alloy La Téne brooch from the Iron Age period. Copper alloy La Téne II Type 4 (Hull & Hawkes 1987) brooch which is almost complete, the point of the pin being the only thing missing. Type 4 brooches are described as brooches with multi-looped wire either forming the bow or set along it's top. Lead spindle whorl which has been cast, dating to the Medieval period. The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan. It is biconical with an equatorial ridge and a central perforation which is set transversely. Both faces are decorated with different patterns. One face is split into sections by lines running from the central perforation to the ridge. Inside each section is a raised dot. The other face is more worn and the decoration is not as clear. It consists of some dots and possible lines but that is all that can be seen.

Copper alloy fastener, probably post-medieval in date. The hook piece of a fastener, possibly for clothing or a belt. It has been cast in one and appears complete but has some iron corrosion on the rounded end. The hook has a sub-square section and leads into a circular part of the object. This is hemi-spherical and hollow although it has been filled by ferrous corrosion and dirt. The upper face of this part is decorated by incised lines and two circular perforations. The back piece was cast integrally and has been bent back on itself across the back of the hemisphere.
