Body sherd of Roman grey ware. A small irregular (five sided) body fragment of grey ware. All edges are broken and it has only a slight curve in section. It is perhaps the base of a vessel as curved lines can be seen (faintly) as you would see on a base, this would also explain the very slight curve. The fabric is fairly hard and is dark grey in colour. There are some small (c.1mm) inclusions of a dark material, possibly grit. There are some patches which have a green tint, perhaps this was a glaze or something stored in the pot.

Body sherd of coarse orange ware from the Roman period. A small irregular (sub-triangular) body fragment of coarse orange ware. All edges are broken and in section the different coloured core can be seen. There is a slight curve to the piece. The fabric is mid orange in colour with a darker orange core. The whole piece of pot is slightly speckled with dark brown inclusions. There are a few white (mica) and red inclusions. The fragment was probably part of a jar or large bowl as the curve is not great.

Circular lead weight or gaming piece. Circular possible weight or gaming piece which has a raised edge. It is decorated by 3 concentric circles, the central one being filled in. The back is plain but has some scratch marks and chips probably due to wear. Its function is unclear as although it appears decorative there is no obvious method of attachment. It could possibly be a gaming token or a weight.

Possible lid or cap made of lead, probably Roman. The top of the object is circular in plan and there is a raised edge. Inside the raised edge, in relief, is an animal, possibly a cockerel. On the back the edges have folded in on themselves so they would no longer fit as a lid.
