One side has diagonal lines from the centre to the edge, creating triangular cells, inside of each of which there is a circular pellet. Lead bi-conical spindle whorl with a central circular perforation. It is circular in plan although there are some bits of corrosion attached to the edges. It is worn so the decoration cannot be seen very clearly. It has been decorated on both sides in relief with zig-zag lines and dots. Spindle whorls are hard to date precisely as they were used for a long period of time. Therefore this find has been dated broadly to the Medieval period.
